PICS FROM THE NEW ALBUM “ARISA, UNA NUOVA ROSALBA IN CITTÀ”

Sugar Baby

With Arisa, Sugar Music is betting on love.

Arisa dresses feelings in the most beautiful way (é isso que diz? Fiquei meio confusa) and us at Icarius have done everything to make that visible.

The future needs love, as said in the title of one of the songs on the artist’s new album. Love as a cure and not as a source of suffering.

Sugar believes it, and we do too. Together we found an artistic guideline to visually communicate the album, “A new Rosalba in the city” released on February 8th, and this new artistic chapter of Arisa’s music.

Each song has its own song cover, and is treated as if it were a single because it tells an individual story of a “new Rosalba (in the city)”, under many different lights.

As many songs as the album are. Arisa comes out of her full femininity when she wears original vintage 70s garments.

To begin defining this concept we met with the artist’s team at Sugar, the italian record label based in Milan so as to understand the meaning of Arisa as an artist and her projection from their point of view as well.

Caterina Caselli, the label’s co-founder and creative genius who oversees record production and filmography. An objective and professional woman with a clear perception of the essence of the artist, the artist’s audience and the image that the public seeks.

Roberto Gentileschi, handles Artist production development, a man with great musical vision and a volcano of energy at work. Accurate, available and demanding.

Matteo Buzzanca, with whom we first met while Arisa was in the studio recording the album to tell us about the production and evolution of the songs, Buzzanca is the author and producer of 4 songs on the album, Quando C’erano Le Lire, Mi Sento Bene, Tam Tam e Minidonna, and has given us a more profound perception of Arisa, allowing us to transform the songs into stories for our shoots.
